“Forever” is a 45 minute dance piece in two parts (no intermission) by Mari Carrasco.
It premiered September 27 2024 at the Royal Swedish Opera (the Rotundan stage) with a cast of 8 dancers.
Who hasn’t felt alone at a party at some point, despite being among people? In the dance performance Forever, the audience takes part in an ongoing party in the Opera’s Rotunda and moves during the performance from being an observer from a distance to getting up close. The show revolves around life and death, grief and hope, and being part of a flow and a continuation. How can one be an individual and part of a group at the same time?
